Travel
I traveled a lot as a kid. I have amazing memories of family trips all over the world: England, France, Italy, Sun Valley, Hawaii, San Juan Islands, Boston, New York City, Disneyworld, Vail, Mt. Bachelor, Scottsdale, Germany, and the list goes on. I feel honored to have been able to visit all of these places as a kid. As an adult, I have been to some cool places as well: Bali, Costa Rica, Cayman Islands, Cancun, Hawaii, Puerto Vallarta, Schweitzer, Nashville, Bozeman, Big Sky.
My daughter took her first trip at 5 months. We went to a wedding in Florida.
I took my first solo trip with the kids when my son was 14 months old (my daughter was 2 1/2).
I have lost count how many trips we have taken, just the three of us, but it has been many. They are amazing travelers, I love showing them the world, and I can't wait to show them more!
When I was younger, I dreamed of being a travel writer, so here I am, living out my dream. :)
I intend to continue my travels, both solo, and with the kids, and I look forward to documenting all of our journeys here!
Next up? Disneyland! We leave Monday, and I have ALL of the emotions: excitement and anxiety are the top two at this moment. And, oh, there will be a heatwave while we are there. Only during the days we are there, of course.
Please give me all of your Disneyland tips, especially the ones about staying cool!
