No Sleep...

'Til Brooklyn? For the wicked? 'Til Christmas? For the weary? FOR MOMS! And especially REALTOR MOMS!

When I woke up this morning after going to bed WAY too late, and not sleeping well AT ALL, my first thought was, "I am not going to make it through the day. I am going to have to nap, or at least go to bed when the kids go to bed." Yet, here I am, working away while the house sleeps and my eyes are burning. Why, oh WHY do we moms do this to ourselves?

I am going to break it down for you:

All day, every day, we are going, going, going. Whether it is at work, at momming, or at both. We are 100% on. At the end of the day, we are beyond exhausted, and we cannot wait until bedtime, but then when the kids are finally asleep, we finally have a moment of peace, by ourselves and that is GOLD. We think about how special this quiet, alone time is, and we just can't bear to waste it, so, we drag our tired bodies out to the couch where we plop down and spend far too much time multi-tasking watching Netflix shows while getting caught up on both our Facebook and Instagram feeds. Am I right!? We end up going to bed way too late again, and the next morning we vow to go to bed when the kids go to bed, but alas, the cycle continues. Until one day, the utter exhaustion finally catches up with us.
