Find Your Passion

What is the saying? Find your passion and you will never work a day in your life again. I've found my passion, folks. After two failed attempts at selling real estate, one stint in my early 20's (um, I was a child), and another attempt in 2009 (that may have been the stupidest decision OF my life, and I have made some bad decisions), I figured third time's a charm, and mine one final attempt in the fall of 2012. And...drum roll, please...I AM STILL AT IT!! And I LOVE it. I really, really, really love it.

From 2012-2016 I worked for Keller Williams. I worked my ass off and became one of the top agents in my office. I was on my way to building a successful team, and then babies happened, winter season hit and money was tight. It was extremely difficult building a real estate business while also full-time parenting a baby with literally no help. I was drowning. So, I made the decision to stay in real estate, but work for a company, which could provide more stability. Enter Redfin who has been a dream to work for. I have consistently been a top producer and the #1 agent in all of West Seattle, my primary market. I sold 83 homes last year, and was able to pay off all debt, travel more than I have since I was a kid, and have fun while doing it all.

I feel blessed to enjoy what I am doing so much that it does not feel like work. Never will you hear me say, "I have to work," instead you will hear me say, "I get to work." Every day is different. Every deal is unique. I am constantly being challenged, and I am learning something new every day. The flexible schedule works great for my lifestyle, and I feel like I won the lottery with my career choice.

I am lucky to have been able to find my passion in my work.
